This is the main documentation repository for the libpostal project.

The docs here reflect the last release, which at the moment is -SNAP6. See our project page to download the source tarball. A tarball of this documentation is also available there.

libpostal uses the Codelibrary SGML DTD to maintain our docs. This DTD was written especially for the libpostal project, and is available to anybody who wants to use it for their project. See the Codelibrary DTD page for download info and docs.

The documentation is available online in the following formats:

• HTML (148k): One large HTML page
• TXT (83k): ASCII text
• PS (123k): PostScript
• PDF (78k): Adobe Portable Document Format
• RTF (122k): Rich Text Format
• DVI (90k): TeX DeVice Independant
• SGML (16k): A tarball of the various files comprising the SGML source for these docs. Unless you're reformatting them yourself, or using it as an example of using the Codelibrary DTD, this is probably remarkably useless to you.
